RIP Daddy

Perhaps the worlds second most known pit bull, Daddy,
passed away on Friday, February the 19th, 2010.

"Cesar Millan, all his family and friends, his staff and volunteers,
and dog lovers all around the world today will mourn the passing of
one of the most loyal, trusting, well-balanced, and influential pit
bull ambassadors the world has ever known. Daddy, Cesar’s longtime
friend and partner in canine rehabilitation, died peacefully
surrounded by family on Friday the 19th of February. He was sixteen
years old."

Bootleg Sled Dog Races in Kimberley BC

The second Bootleg Sled Dog Race is to be held February 20 and 21, 2010.

Not only were the races some of the best on the continent, the beneficiaries of the races, the East Kootenay Friends of Children Fund, will be better equipped to help families financially as a result of the races. That's right, The Bootleg Sled Dog Races have a cause. Last year they raised $18,293.59 for the East Kootenay Friends of Children Fund. This fund assists the families of patients with the financial burden of travel to the larger cities.
